I do think I have some essential bare, but it's not tweedy, and there's only one big hank of it. Thermal's on hold for a day or two while I wrassle the Pi Shawl into submission. I switched to size 4 needles for this incarnation (still on the 3rd, and I'm up to 512 sts, but I have many rounds to knit before I'm ready for the edging, and I'll probably run out of yarn for this too). The upside is that I really like the fabric with the size 4 needles. I've heard that Trekking, striping issues notwithstanding, can be scratchy or stiff to knit with, but that it blooms and gets softer with washing. I'm excited to knit with mine, which will be blogged about SOON. My blog is getting dusty. I should say something there tomorrow, just to clear out the tumbleweeds.
