So I have a live journal and I’m on various communities anyway one of the military wives one I’m on has this lovely post and I’ve tried offering a reasonable opinion to her before and she’s such an utter moron I am not bothering this time.

So I just had some SOB tell me that because my hubby and I are pagan, we clash with the military’s standards??? WTF And he say’s I have no right to spout my opinions are say I hate the military because I should have known or I should have informed myself! How the hell was I supposed to know what crap is like???? Look, my hubby is in the 3rd toughest school in the US or is it the world? He is in the nuclear program and I’ve been told it is the hardest place on a marriage. I don’t need this BS. On top of this I also suffer from a chronic illness that I just had diagnosed and severe depression. Oh wait, we are getting discriminated because he isn’t in the sandbox, right????

So there are various responses along the lines of laugh it off or ignore it and she comes back with this gem

Everyone always seems to freak out when I say something that isn’t patriotic or pro military or republican. And when they find out that we don’t have kids, WHOA, the s*^t hits the fan!!!! Oh yeah, the recruiters do lie and if I hear one more person tell me that they don’t, they just "stretch the truth" I’LL SCREAM AND TEAR MY HEAD OFF!!! IT’S LYING DAMNIT!!!!!! LYING IS LYING! THE MILITARY SUCKS! I HATE IT!!!! SCREW ANYONE WHO DOESN’T AGREE! KICK ME OFF THE COMMUNITY!!!! I DON’T CARE!!!!! I KNOW I’M RIGHT!

 Lets take my objections to this asshat’s post one at a time shall we?

1) she should have taken it upon herself to research the life, I know I did. How the hell was she supposed to know? Same way I did Army + Wife @google.com

2) Lots of things claim to be the hardest on a marriage, he comes home doesn’t he? Special Forces guys are gone *all* the time. Navy guys are gone alot too.

3) I think fs is a bunch of crap, or if she’s that depressed its probably the depression.

4) Most people in the military take a huge amount of their identity from it so when you sprout off about how you hate they feel like you hate them. I’m sure you feel the same when something similar happens to you.

5) Justin’s didn’t Lie. I am sure some do. But we double checked everything anyway.

6) I so hope her husband is an officer and this wrecks his career. I mean sheesh you know I am not all rah rah all the time but at least I know enough to keep my trap shut when I am disliking his career choice.

7) Lastly this chick claims to be a Libertarian….well last I checked the Libertarians are closer to the right than the left. F****** idiot.
