		<description>Thanks for this!  I am an inexperienced sweater knitter.  It&#039;s been all accessory knitting up to this point (mostly socks).

And argh--I love Ravelry, but you find all the people who know how to adjust a sweater so that it looks great, even better than the original, and then you want to add yet ANOTHER project to the already over long queue.

I agree: I think sweaters should be constructed differently depending on the body type they&#039;re being knit for and the use they&#039;re going to get. An outerwear cardigan that you want to wear over other clothes in the fall should have a little extra strength so that it doesn&#039;t just stretch and cling. A sweater that you want to wear by itself to show off curves should totally be knit in the round.

You Knit What was always very good at pointing out the telltale &quot;model has to sit like a contortionist just to make the sweater look good&quot; poses. I say we should also look for pictures that include the whole garment. I hate not knowing that the back of the sock isn&#039;t patterned or finding out that the sleeves are actually 3/4 length.</description>
