FO: Vine Lace Socks and some Wips

Posted by – May 5, 2007

Dates: Sometime in April
Pattern:
Vine Lace Socks modeled by Pandora
Yarn: Schaefer Lola Mulberry on a Mission
Needles:
Size 2 Knitpicks Classic Circulars
Pattern Notes:
Absolutely gorgeous pattern. I loved how it worked with the varigated yarn instead of against it. The only thing I would change would be to do a different bind off so it wouldn’t roll as badly. However once on the rolling isn’t as noticeable.
Would I knit it again?
HELL YES.

And now for the misc updates and wips.

Lady Eleanor:

She’s now at 30″ I think I’ve used about 4 or 5 balls so far. I’m pretty pleased. And most importantly I finally got a much better photo of her to show off.

Most boring sock ever:

Pandora modeling the most boring sock ever. It’s a plain stockinette anklet in Cascade Fixation. I’m giving them to my mother as part of her mothers day gift.

Ravelry:

Yes its been blogged about everywhere. It rocks. You should sign up.

I love those socks! What a great color of yarn too.

Even boring projects look good when modeled by a slightly annoyed (or sleeping and completely unawares) cat. :)

    I’m in love with Ravelry.
