Finished Slip Stitch Rib Socks

Posted by – August 24, 2007

Pattern: My usual sock with the slip stitch rib from MSKS
Yarn: Misty Mountain Farm, Colorway- Apple Rose
Needles: Kp size 1′s
Size: Me Me Me
Pattern Notes: Because of the ribbing they look far more narrow then they are. The slip stitch pattern did do an excellent job of breaking things up so they didn’t pool. I did have to fudge the stitch pattern a bit to make it fit and if I were to do it over again I would alter it more. These were my best heels so far though.  They did take a while but I was working on two sweaters at the same time plus I’ve not had as much time or energy to knit. Also I am the worlds slowest knitter.
Would I knit it again? Sure. However there are a million sock patterns out there so…

Agreed with the other commenters–great colorway.

Hmm, I may have to pick up that book now; I love the non-pooled colors. Although I have SKS and never use it since I like knitting Nancy Bush patterns way too much.
